The Afrilab project aims to launch a research laboratory equipped with sufficient means and personnel with the aim of developing new treatments for endemic diseases in Africa (especially hepatitis B, malaria), serving at the same time as a platform to host and Train African scientists.
Afrilab’s main projects are the following:
/ CHEMISTRY of the molecules of the innate immune response in the liver as a strategy for the treatment of hepatitis B virus, cancer of faith and malaria.
/ Development of non-viral vectors for gene transfer in the liver
/ TRAINING CENTER FOR AFRICAN SCIENTISTS
